Continuously Educating All in Academic Excellence (CEAAE) is dedicated to confronting educational inequities by providing comprehensive services to promote academic excellence and empower all individuals within the education community.

Our vision is a future where every student, teacher, support staff, and administrator has equal access to quality education and the resources needed to succeed, ultimately creating a more inclusive and equitable society.

David Lee Dickerson is currently the Lead Program Facilitator and Acellus Administrator
for the Confluence Learning Center, a focused-learning, alternative program within Confluence
Preparatory Academy High School. Mr. Dickerson provides strategic leadership, mentoring,
character development, and academic support to underserved minority students who are credit
deficient, have behavioral drawbacks, and have attendance issues. Mr. Dickerson has been
recognized by Confluence Academies’ network of schools as the 2018-2019 CPA High School
Teacher of the Year and is a 2014 National Urban Debate League Championship coach. Mr.
Dickerson currently serves as the CPA Head Debate Coach and is an advocate for colleagues by
serving as a member of the Teacher Advisory Committee.
Mr. Dickerson earned a Master of Education in Educational Administration degree from
Grand Canyon University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in
Organizational Leadership with an Emphasis in K-12 Leadership at Grand Canyon University.
Mr. Dickerson’s long-term research interests include comprehending ways race, gender, cultural
awareness, and learning strategies impact the academic success of African American students
seeking to build an educational foundation that will lead to them being independent, culturally
aware, and contributing members of society. To further these research interests, Mr. Dickerson
will use qualitative methods to gather and synthesize information, identify gaps within the data,
analyze, then publish his findings.
Mr. Dickerson’s immediate professional interests include attaining a principal position at
a high school. His short-term interest involves attaining a superintendent position to support
educational teams that strive to make a difference by attending to the academic, social,
emotional, and psychological needs of the adolescent and young adult learner. Additionally, Mr.
Dickerson has a long-term goal of opening an educational consulting firm that focuses on
increasing the academic performance and character of African American adolescents and young
adult learners striving to be empowered, financially stable, critical thinkers who advocate for the
next person.
